[OKFN-Spain] Oportunidad de financiacion [caps.projects] CHEST announces 35 winning ideas of Call 1 - Call 3 still open for submissions

Bajo informacion sobre oportunidad de financiacion para el impulso de proyectos open data. La call es de gestion facil, asi que no conlleva mucha burocracia presentarse. Por si interesa a algunas de las iniciativas desarrolladas en el Chapter o en su entorno. Fecha limite 30 de Sept.

The CHEST team is pleased to announce the winners of the first round of the CHEST competition. Out of 214 submissions, 35 innovative ideas will receive € 6.000 support, as evaluated and voted by the CHEST online community. The focus of the successful ideas ranges significantly, from an app to facilitate the daily mobility of people with special needs through to ecommerce platforms for food waste reduction. The award aims to support the innovators in investigating the feasibility of their idea and to take their project to the next step. The support offered by CHEST will not end with the € 6.000 seed funding but continue by inviting all winners to submit their idea also to Call 3 (Call for applications) to turn their idea into a prototype or demonstrator. The third round is open until September 30th 2014 not only to the winners of Call 1 but also to new applicants and will support up to 25 projects with up to € 60.000 each.
