No seria la primera vez que OKFN - Spain apoya una iniciativa de regulación de Internet/data/transparencia etc. Y no tendría que dejar de hacerlo :-).
Me esperanza tu comentario de que veas que esta creciendo el numero de iniciativas para defender la neutralidad de la red, la gobernanza procomun etc. (guai si las haces llegar :-). Ojala sea así! Pero la verdad es que no comparto esta apreciación. Al contrario, creo que es verdaderamente problemático la falta de iniciativas y movilizacion He investigado este tema. Comparando por ejemplo el nivel de movilización con la Ley Sinde respecto a la situación actual, y aunque la regulación se hace mas restrictiva la movilización es mucho menor (lo expongo en datos por ejemplo aqui: http://www.eldiario.es/interferencias/Ley_de_Propiedad_Intelectual-_Ley_Sinde-_15M_6_230686946.html).
Recientemente no han llegado a la lista muchas peticiones de apoyos en este sentido.
Así mismo, pienso que la de Internet Social Forum es una iniciativa apoyada ampliamente (la lista de actores que la promueven es muy extensa). También es de valor que sea de carácter global, que es una dimensión en que pocas veces hay coordinación aunque la dimensión global en estos temas sea estratégica para poder tener impacto en la gobernanza de Internet. Como decía al menos OKFN Canada también lo ha firmado, y otros chapter de OKFN están considerándolo.
Para mi no cabe duda que no es ni una iniciativa mas (primero porque la verdad no hay muchas), y es bastante única por la temática (ligada a agenda OKFN), su nivel de apoyo, y dimensión global.
