"The public domain is . . . a disgrace to the forces of evil"

A Fair(y) Use Tale (2007) is short film by Eric Faden, Associate Professor of English at Bucknell University (Lewisburg, PA). Faden mashed-up clips from several Disney animated movies to create this transformative (and therefore, legal) work to inform about copyright and fair use. The irony that Faden used material from The Walt Disney Company--which vigorously (some would say notoriously) defends its copyright--is not lost on the viewer. (Continues. . .)
