[Open-access] Elsevier caught selling articles that should have been open access

Elsevier have been selling articles (for $31.50 + tax) that authors &
research funders have *paid* Elsevier to make open access.

This is far from the first time. Last year there was widespread coverage of
the 'bumps on road to open access' as they euphemistically called it.

How many times will the academic community let them get away with these
'mistakes'?

If you know of any other articles that should definitely be freely
available, but instead are being sold behind a paywall by a careless,
carefree publisher - do let me know. We need to connect the dots on this
issue. I fear it is more widespread than we know.
