Hi all,

I thought the below might be of interest to some of you - an Energy and
Climate Hackday next month.

Also, the Open Knowledge Festival 2012 <http://okfestival.org> was
announced last week - do join the public OKFest discussion
list<http://lists.okfn.org/mailman/listinfo/okfestival-coord>and put
the dates in your diary.

Regards,
Naomi

To: okfn-discuss at lists.okfn.org, open-economics at lists.okfn.org

Dear list,

I am happy to announce that we have now fixed the date for the Energy and
Climate Hackday to take place on March 3rd. This would possibly give us
sufficient time to complete any application to submit to the Apps4Climate
World Bank competition (March 16 - deadline).

We would also have a circle during the Hackday dedicated to the DECC 2050
Pathways Calculator (http://2050-calculator-tool.decc.gov.uk/pathways) with
representatives from DECC, who would like to develop an international
version of the application.

If you are interested in co-organising this event and have ideas about
other circles to take place during the Hackday, you are more than welcome!

The location will be confirmed soon and along with a blog post invitation.
You are also welcome to join the Energy and Climate DataParty on the 1st of
March to data mine and mash up climate and energy data. I will keep you
posted with the details.
