Tutorial "Mapping cross-domain metadata to the Europeana Data Model
(EDM)"

This half-day tutorial will provide a technical introduction to the
Europeana Data Model. It will present its main principles and discuss
modelling issues that proved harder to solve. We will also present the
semantic and technical challenges involved when mapping cross domain
activities and invite participants to data alignment exercises and more
discussion on the guiding principles of mapping.
