Dear all,

The Global Open Data Index 2014 team is thrilled to announce that the
Global Open Data Index 2014 is now live <http://index.okfn.org/>!

We would not have arrived at this point without your incredible support in
making sure that your country/place was represented in the Index and that
the agenda for open data moves forward. We’re already seeing this tool
being used for advocacy around the world, and hope that the full and
published version will allow you to do the same.

Thank you to the submitters, country/place-level reviewers and expert
reviewers who have all played a significant role in the publication of this
Index. And thank you for bearing with us around some challenging
deadlines. Special thanks to Mor Rubinstein and Christian Villum here at
Open Knowledge for coordinating these efforts worldwide.

We look forward to your feedback on the new website.

We’re equally thrilled to share your stories around your experience of Open
Data. Take a look here: http://index.okfn.org/stories/ It’s not too late
to add your story. If you’re using the Global Open Data Index as a tool
for advocacy, or plan to, we would love to hear from you. Just contact
emma.beer at okfn.org

Finally, our press release is now live, and is being translated in several
languages. Keep an eye out for updates here <http://index.okfn.org/press/>
and feel free to send press to this section on the website. In the press
section there are several documents that point you to key highlights from
our analytics of this year’s Index.

Follow #openindex14 <https://twitter.com/hashtag/openindex14?src=hash> for
updates and tweet your thoughts!

Thank you to everyone who played a role in Global Open Data Index 2014.

With warm wishes,

The Global Open Data Index team
