Thanks for bringing this up Dinu. I suppose it's worthwhile to explain
the background of how this came about.

I was strongly opposed to pointing new contributors towards the OKFN's
wiki. I felt that the landing page for new contributions should be the
mailing list should be the central focus. The only other page that I
thought was worth sending people towards was our source control, which
had its own wiki.

In the subsequent months, the situation has reversed itself. I'll
amend the mailing list content tomorrow. It's just hit 10pm here.
