   Yesterday, 50 CSOs have [7]written to European development leaders urging
   them to increase the transparency of EC and Member States' aid.  The letters

   The [9]climate finance Bangkok Call for Action was agreed at the
   Asia-Pacific Climate Change Finance and Aid Effectiveness meeting in late
   October, recommending aid transparency as a prerequisite for the effective
   tracking of climate funding.

   In the EU, development leaders were [10]urged by 50 CSOs, agencies and
   platforms to fulfill commitments made at the Accra High Level Forum, and to
   define a progressive position on mutual accountability and aid transparency.

   With Republicans taking control of the House following the U.S. Midterm
   Elections, aid transparency looks set to [11]emerge as the area of common
   ground in the foreign assistance reform agenda.

   In the UK, aid transparency remains a top priority, as outlined in the

   Today and Friday, the [13]Open Government Data Camp 2010 is aiming to build
   consensus around policy issues related to open data. Organised by the Open
   Knowledge Foundation, the Camp will bring together a range of expertise to
   experiment and explore what can be developed with open data.
