Folks,
I was at the TechSoup global contributors summit in San Jose last week.
A session that might be of interest to this group is on "Civil Society
Reslience":

I shared some thoughts on: open data in development, embracing feedback and
failure and prioritising local citizen-focussed efforts. The #kngow hashtag
is being used to keep a track of follow up discussions.
There's nothing concrete to report here yet but it's clear there's a lot of
demand and thinking around knowledge sharing, results sharing, and the
measuring and reporting of effectiveness in the "US third sector".
There was also interest in the IATI standard from folks like SAP and
Netsuite who have software products used by donors, governments, charities
and philanthropic institutions.
