The Global Economic Map is a proposed Partner Project of the Open Knowledge
Foundation.

Here is a link to the project homepage:
https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Global_Economic_Map#Proposal

The Global Economic Map is a standardized data set for 'summary' economic
statistics in a wiki format. The format is designed to be concise and
readable to common laypersons. All 196 countries, every region and city in
the world will have their own article. The format is a combination of
economic statistics from government publications such as the CIA Factbook,
World Bank, IMF, financial statements, and other professional sources.

Each country will have article with this format:

List of country articles:

List of articles for each U.S. state:

Anybody interested to help out or have advice?

Thank you,
Alex
