Greetings,

Prof. Jemni, Prof. Kinshuk and Dr. Khribi are editing a book titled "Open
Education: from OERs to MOOCs".

The book will be published by Springer in 2016 under its Lecture Notes in
Educational Technology series (http://www.springer.com/series/11777).

This book will focus on the emerging phenomenon of Massive Open Online
Courses (MOOCs) within the context of open education movement, and review
existing policies, guidelines and initiatives to promote the use of ICT in
education through the development and use of open educational resources
from the international practices, including implementation and licensing
issues.

Please find the Open Call at http://adapt.athabascau.ca/open_education_book/

To ensure the quality, while we are disseminating the open call via various
mailing lists, the editors have already invited certain experts to write
chapters that are focused on the state-of-the-art research work and
regional case studies.
The word limit is between 5000 to 7000 words.

The timeline is as follows:

editors)
