Greetings OER Colleagues:
Good news out of the U.S. Department of Education yesterday!
- Proposed an agency-wide open policy for educational materials and
other IP created with discretionary grant funds, including a strict
definition of “open license” that specifies terms equivalent to the
Creative Commons Attribution license (CC BY).
- Launched a #GoOpen campaign to expand OER in PreK-12 schools.
For details, please see these resources ... and please help spread the word
using #GoOpen and mention @usedgov

Who thinks they have a similar national / regional opportunity to make this
happen in their country? Let's work together and make announcements like
this all over the world.
Cheers,
