[Open-education] Introducing Learning Circles: Online Learning, Offline.

For the past year, P2PU (http://p2pu.us2.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=f080ec78070523d59ef613eda&id=228a5a2d2b&e=5984f6e3d4) has worked to develop Learning Circles: lightly facilitated study groups for learners who want to take online courses together, in-person. Based on the success of this program (http://p2pu.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=f080ec78070523d59ef613eda&id=bb624111af&e=5984f6e3d4) at Chicago Public Library, P2PU is excited to announce today that the Learning Circles tools and methodology are now available to you, for free.

In addition to our new Learning Circles website, we’ve developed a toolkit to help you get started running your own Learning Circles. It includes online tools for promoting and running your Learning Circles as well as a Facilitator Handbook with more than 40 pages of tips, tricks, templates, and suggestions on everything from course selection to advertising. You can access all of this on the Learning Circles website and begin re-using and remixing our materials in your local library, community center, school, or home today!
