[Open-education] Call for Proposals, OE Global 2017

The Open Education Consortium and the University of Cape Town, hosts of the
Open Education Global 2017 Conference, invite proposals for conference
sessions to take place in Cape Town, South Africa, from 8-10 March 2017. We
are particularly excited to have Cape Town as the venue for the 2017 Open
Education Global Conference, since it marks the 10 year anniversary of the Cape
Town Open Education Declaration <http://www.capetowndeclaration.org/>,
along with the 15 year anniversary of the term “Open Educational Resources”
and the 5 year anniversary of the Paris OER Declaration

We'll have a lot to celebrate!

The theme of the Open Education Global 2017 Conference is* Open for
Participation*. In keeping with this theme, we welcome all proposals
concerning taking an open approach in education. This includes formal and
non-formal education; primary, secondary and higher education; open
educational practices, projects, policies, research, collaborations and
impact; open data, open access, open science, open organizations, open
source software, etc.

   - Call for Proposals Opens: 16 June 2016
   - Submissions Due: 17 October 2016
   - Acceptance Announcements: week of 12 December 2016
