Open Education: Promoting Diversity for European Languages – Consultation on policy recommendations

2 November 2016, 11AM CET

Speakers: Jim Ayre (European Schoolnet), Gard Titlestad (ICDE), Alastair Creelman (Linnaeus University), Marit Bijlsma (Fryske Akademy).

Dear Open education colleagues,

we are inviting key stakeholders to help finalise draft recommendations that are aimed at supporting the enhancement of teaching and learning of less used languages through the development and use of Open Educational Resources.

With your input, the final recommendations to be published at the end of this year will provide a clear roadmap for how policy makers, the European Commission and institutions can work to overcome barriers to OER uptake and foster linguistic and cultural diversity in Europe.
