Dear colleagues,

I am writing to invite you to attend the Webinar “*The New Open Education*"
by Martin Weller, which will take place on *Tuesday 11th of October at h
17.00 CET*.

During the webinar, that will be the fourth *Open Education Tuesday*
organized by the Telefonica Chair at UNIR, Martin Weller will look at how
open education evolved from the distance, open entry model of open
universities, into the current field that encompasses OER, MOOCs, open
access, etc. He will look at key influencing factors, and examine how
research has developed over the past 15 years. Should the current open
education movement can be considered distinct from the previous model, or
an adaptation of it? Open education also offers an example of other fields
that are influenced by digital, network transformation, and can be seen as
a model for how such fields develop.

To register to the webinar go to
http://masterclass.unir.net/openclass/educacion/beyond-open-education-open-access-and-open-culture.html
.

I hope you will be able to be with us!

All the best,

Fabio
