Hi Joris,
I have applied from WMSV for funding for the tickets, so please let me know when there are less than 10 tickets left and save one for me then :)! I should know about whether or not I get funding very soon (at least I hope so!). Regardless, we will of course still meet as we have talked about.
Cheers,
John

Dear all,
Just a final post to warn you that tickets for OKFest are beginning to sell out! If you haven't yet bought yours, get it here: http://okfestival.org/early-bird-okfest-tickets/
We have an exciting series of sessions lined up for the Open Cultural Heritage stream.
Highlights include:
* Michael Edson from the Smithsonian Institute will give a keynote with the title: “Lego Beowulf and the Web of Hands and Hearts”
* The Open GLAM workshop where representatives from Wikimedia Finland, Creative Commons and several Finnish institutions share their experiences with Open Data
* The Building the Cultural Commons Session where people and organisation doing great work in opening op cultural data come together to share experiences, discuss the problems and decide on next steps in order to make more cultural content available for everyone
More details on the open cultural heritage stream: http://okfestival.org/open-cultural-heritage/
And on the wider programme: http://blog.okfn.org/2012/09/05/okfest-2week-bulletin/
If you can't make the main event, there is also a *FREE* culture & science hackday in Helsinki on Tuesday 18th. Sign-up here: http://okfestival.org/open-culture-and-science-hackday/
There are fewer than 100 tickets remaining, so please do share this with friends, colleagues and around any mailing lists you may be part of. It would be great to meet you in Helsinki!
Kind regards,
--
