Hi all,

A bit late, but I had not read about the fact that the updated PSI
directive has finally been approved by the European Parliament yet.

Timothy Vollmer has written a nice overview of the changes for the cultural
secotr on the Communia blog:
http://www.communia-association.org/2013/06/14/european-parliament-approves-updated-psi-directive/

I agree with him that this is in general a step in the right direction, but
it is a shame that the "EU lawmakers chose not to address the Communia
recommendation of explicitly including public domain content held by
libraries, museums and archives under the reuse obligation of the amended
directive."

All the best,

Joris
