For all of you working to make your collections more OPEN, enter NOW!!! There are just a few more days left to get your submission entered for the Open Culture Category of the MUSE Awards!!!

The Media & Technology (M&T) Professional Network of the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) is proud to announce that submissions for the 28th annual MUSE Awards are now open! The deadline for submissions is March 1, 2017 by 11:59 p.m. US Eastern Standard Time. The MUSE Awards web site contains detailed information on award categories, entry policies, fees, and more: http://aam-us.org/about-us/grants-awards-and-competitions/muse-awards. The MUSE Awards submission system has been newly redesigned to allow for easier completion of applications. The $50.00 USD per application entry fee remains unchanged.

Winners will be notified in late March with the award presentation ceremony taking place on May 7, 2017 at AAM's Annual Meeting & MuseumExpo in St. Louis, Missouri.

The MUSE awards recognize outstanding achievement in gallery, library, archive, and museum (GLAM) media and technology programs. These annual awards are presented to institutions, independent producers, and their partners who use digital media and a wide variety of technologies to increase audience engagement and enhance the GLAM user experience. The MUSE awards celebrate innovation, creativity, programmatic impact, diversity, education, community outreach, and more.
