Hi everyone!

(Apologies for those of you who may already have seen this.)

I am on the convener team helping to organize this non-profit conference in
Portland, Oregon, happening in May, dedicated entirely to open government
advocacy and the potential of open data in improving citizen experience of,
and engagement with, government.

The Call for Speakers (as indicated below) closed last week, but was
extended and closes today; if you would like to contribute to our tracks on
citizen engagement, getting things done, open data standards, government
collaborations and partnerships, or change management, please do consider
submitting a proposal.

We also do have scholarships and have arranged for discount codes for
travellers. See below for more information about who will be speaking and
how to apply.

I am also more than happy to answer any questions you might have about the
event, either by e-mail or if any of you happen to be attending the American
Planning Association Conference in Boston next week.

All the best,

Karen Fung
