[open-government] Public Data Catalog Priorities and Demand

Thanks Ton. That sounds a very good idea... 
I'm working for the municipality of Girona, in Catalonia-Spain. I was in
1998 in Brussels for the public hearing and presentation of the green book
on PSI re-use... that's a looooooong time ago... not much information
circulated til recent years on the issue (better... I didn't get it). We
kept the philosophy in our SAC (Citizens Information and Attention Services
= the unique access points to info and services for citizens and buss in
Spain from 1989), but the fight for getting everything published on the
websites or at least available on demand was so hard (not always for
political will, many times due to staff reluctances and corporate issues...)
finished with the spirit of most of us! 
It'd be great to build a complete set of references to ease the newcomers'
path to this new momentum.

But open data and PSI re-use have been heavily researched and debated
on for now 14 years and not one.

All the addressed topics and questions can be found in plenty of
publications,
either those of my colleagues or mine. Or addressed in previous EU projects.
However, most publications are not for free. 
not only legal bus also businss opportunities and markets have been dealt
with.

You might redo the same work, but it will be very time-consuming.
Insiders know quite well which kind of PSI is asked for and what less.
And where the re-use barriers are constituted in Europe.
