Hey folks

We're building up a board of experts intended to help fast-track a
Canadian high-tech industry, the 'Canadian Cloud Best Practices Council' -
http://www.cloudbestpractices.info/Canada

Our goal is to leverage these technologies for economic development, and
so one of our key tracks is commercialization - How can governments reuse
their investment & IPR into technology for new business ventures. For
example cities spinning out solutions for 'MaaS' -
Municipality-as-a-Service.

I highlight it here as one of our key goals is to enable more 'Open Data
Ventures'. New York attracted $6m in new Venture Capital due to their open
data initiative, and we want to enable others to take the same approach.

See : http://governmentcloudcomputing.info/?p=225

The main help I need is to understand how to best tailor these platforms
for open data developers, and how best to support their work. Please reach
out to me if you're interested in providing some inputs on this,

Cheers,
