Hi all,
I am not sure this has not already been pushed on the list but the French
Digital Council released in June its view in a short white paper on Open
Data in France.
The report is available here (in french)
http://www.cnnumerique.fr/ouverture-des-donnees-publiques-lavis-du-cnnum/
Among the recommendations from the French Council: to revise the French FOI
to introduce a "right to data"; to create a French Open Data Agency to
mutualise competencies and to support national and local administrations
effort; to end the regime of exception on cultural data.
Also, regarding the OKFn Festival I am expecting to attend. Will there be a
discussion on actual Open Government Data policies in European countries ?
Best Regards
