Daniel, all,
Its great to see this progressing! However, its a little unfortunate,
that Linked Data as a means to publish Open Data in a non-proprietary,
machine-readable format does not seem to be mentioned in the current
draft. I think without a standard conforming data representation, which
facilitates data integration (such as RDF and Linked Data) open data is
only a fraction as useful as it could be.
A good input for integrating this aspect into the Open Data manual might
also be Chris' LOD book:
http://linkeddatabook.com/editions/1.0/
Best,
Sören

Because of the name change to Open Data Handbook, open-data-manual at lists.okfn.org will become open-data-handbook at lists.okfn.org as of next Tuesday. There is no need to take action now, but if you use filters be aware that you may need to re-set them.

We will be doing a big push for translators next week, but if any of you are linguists and would like to get started early, go to https://www.transifex.net/projects/p/opendatahandbook/ and sign up. Instructions can be found http://wiki.okfn.org/Projects/Open_Data_Handbook#Translator.
