[open-government] More than eighty formats for open government data

When considering file formats, along with standards and preservation should
also rank in importance.  The UK Data Archive I would imagine has something
similar, as would many other national archives.  Here is a file format
registry for Library and Archives Canada:

Local Digital Format Registry (LDFR)
File Format Guidelines for Preservation and Long-term Access
