Dear Júlia Keserű,
Congratulations on your new position with the Sunlight Foundation!
At Expert-Grup <http://expert-grup.org/en/> (independent think tank based
in Chisinau, Moldova, specialized in economic and policy research) we have
two main projects related to transparency/opengovernment&data:
*"Budget Process in Moldova: Monitoring Transparency and Promoting Public
Control"*: its purpose is to create the conditions for a better
communication among the public institutions involved in the public budget
cycle and civil society groups, to augment the budget transparency by
providing up-to-date budgetary and economic analysis and to consolidate the
public control over the public money through a better information of the
citizens regarding budgetary policies and use of public resources. Please
see more on the project impact at this
link<http://expert-grup.org/en/proiecte/item/603-procesul-bugetar-%C3%AEn-republica-moldova-monitorizarea-transparen%C8%9Bei-%C8%99i-promovarea-controlului-public/603-procesul-bugetar-%C3%AEn-republica-moldova-monitorizarea-transparen%C8%9Bei-%C8%99i-promovarea-controlului-public>
)
We've started the implementation of the second project in December 2012,
and will be launching on 28.2.2013: *(Building a Citizen's Budget
Understanding*: http://www.budgetstories.md/, a website that will include
infographics, budget data visualizations and analyses on the use of public
money). More information on the way!
Thanks for the opportunity to share this information about our work, and
please let us know how we can further contribute.
Kind regards,
p.s.: hope to meet you at the TransparencyCamp International Program in May
:)
