The Texas Chapter of the Special Libraries Association is currently seeking
speakers on open government and open data.

The presentation (45 mins. to an hour in length) should likely include or
be an introduction/overview of open government initiatives (federal and
state, Texas) and the open data movement and issues. We would be happy to
work with presenters on building and preparing a presentation. This year's
meeting will take place in Houston (Rice University), TX in November (date
to be determined).

Librarians represent libraries from the government, science and technology,
academic, business, legal, and entrepreneurial sectors, among others.

If you or someone you know would be interested in this speaking
opportunity, please reply off list.

Cheers!
Angela
