[open-humanities] open data for the arts

This is an interesting discussion.

We started to have a similar conversation in a "Re-use of Open Data" 
panel at THATCamp London back in July (see 
http://thatcamplondon.org/schedule/reuse/). The idea we were playing 
with was to define a set of "badges" that people could attach to their 
data (preferably in metadata), self-identifying their adherence to a few 
recommended principles.

(I've been meaning to get the participants in this conversation together 
again and try to write this up a bit better. I don't suppose anyone on 
this list was there, were you?)
