There's an imminent deadline for applications from arts and humanities
researchers interested in digital public space to apply to become part
of an AHRC funded research initiative. Please see
http://thecreativeexchange.org for more details.  On the site you will
see a call for academics (deadline Friday 13th April at 5.00 pm).at:
http://thecreativeexchange.org/get-involved/researchers

Forty academics will be selected to come to the Hub launch next month
in Manchester and have their time bought out to participate in
workshops and Labs that will lead to funded projects with for profit
and not for profit partners.  The CX Hub is led by Lancaster
University in partnership with University of Newcastle and the Royal
College of Art.

Do please give it a look - the forms are pretty straightforward.

Here's a bit more info:

A CX Knowledge Fund is available to fund research contributions by
SMEs and academics to projects. The fund supports the time of people
who contribute to the generation of new ideas, prototypes and
innovations. In the case of SMEs, it provides a small amount of
research funds to support the time of individuals within the company
who contribute to the research activity outside their day-to-day
business.

Eligible to apply are individuals in creative economy partners and
arts and humanities academics who participate in Hub cluster projects.

The CX Knowledge Fund provides:

Up to £10,000 (average between £5,000 to 8,000) is available for
individuals within the creative economy companies to participate in
cluster projects.
Funds for arts and humanities academics to participate in cluster projects.
 Funds for business support.

All best wishes
