Hi All,

The next Open Humanities Hangout will take place on *Tuesday 28th May at
5pm BST*.

I've decided to challenge myself and the Open Humanities Working Group to
build something based on the awesome work Iain Emsley has been doing on
Open Correspondence and James Harriman-Smith has been doing on open book
scanning.

*In short the challenge is to create a web resource that tells you how to
get a collected book of letters off your shelf and make a visualisation
from what's in there (including the scanning bit).*
*
*
I've written a more extended blog post on this over at OpenGLAM.org:

http://openglam.org/2013/05/16/lets-map-open-correspondence-data/

Let me know on list if you want to get involved!

All the best,
Sam
