Hi all,

thanks to all of you for subscribing! Although its most fun to just
start into a new project with a clean slate, in this one we should
first have a look at the existing work. So here's my current (and most
definetly incomplete) overview:

* OpenCongress - Tracks Congress bills,
http://www.opencongress.org/about/code, Ruby (on Rails & Drugs)
* Tratten - Loads EURLex into MediaWiki,
https://github.com/kattla/tratten-scripts, Perl.
* GovTrack.us - Tracks people, legislation etc. in Congress,
http://www.govtrack.us/developers/, Perl and ASP
* LawLeecher - Load EURLex,
http://www.uni-potsdam.de/db/ls_regierungssystem_brd/index.php?article_id=460&clang=0,
Ruby
* MemoPol2 - EU MEPs, https://github.com/stefanp/memopol2, Python/Django
* NosDeputes - French Parliament, http://www.nosdeputes.fr/, PHP
* Bundestagger - Tracks German parliamentary speeches,
http://www.bundestagger.de/, Django Python
* Deutschland API - DE MdB, http://www.deutschland-api.de/Hauptseite,
Python, PHP
* Adhocracy - Makes laws ;-), http://trac.adhocracy.de, Python

Which ones would you add?

 - Friedrich
