[Open-Legislation] Sharia vs liberal information policy

Hi all,

  I'm wondering if there's anybody on the list who's got any insights
into how liberal information policies (anti-censorship, pro-sharing,
pro-privacy, etc, etc) mesh with Sharia?

  Watching the developments of the last week, w.r.t. Tunisia, Egypt and
now Yemen, I'm thinking that we're going to need to have this mapped out
pretty soon.
