Hi Stef,

When I met with one of the architects working on this whilst @XMLPrague I asked her how a question relating to the accuracy which can be guaranteed when implementing outside views into bills and legislation of this type. She told me that experts would be consulted or allowed to participate in the amending of such bills and that their views would be incorporated into the decision making when the bill made it back into parliament...

I also begin now thinking about one of the presentations I saw whilst @OLDP which mentioned that some 80% of questions and concerns to MP's get completely ignored and never see the light of day within the parliament. I think the fact that announcing a service of this nature is great but I am extremely skeptical about how they are going to address this shift in attention towards listening to the citizen, our thoughts, concerns and ultimate opinions of drafted or proposed legislation/bills?

It is just me or does this sound like another layer of complexity to get through before we understand exactly what is going into our bills?

Best
Lewis
