Thanks for the reference. It looks as if it is not always finer in granularity. E.g., "interjection" seems to be undistinguished from "particle". But I'll look forward to learning, and perhaps following, what you adopt.

Just a list of the language varieties covered up to now by resources that are being consulted in the compilation of PanLex.

That could be helpful, though I don't understand why deciding whether two documents describe the same languoid simplifies the classification problem. Thanks for the reference.
