Dear all,
one of the main goals for the MLODE 2012 workshop will be to finally get
the LLOD cloud up and running. Yesterday, we reviewed the current LLOD
cloud and the result was rather shocking:

Only 10 out 28 bubbles are actually working. Sadly, only one of them is
new and from members of this group: http://wiktionary.dbpedia.org
The other 9 were already existing and are from the big LOD cloud:
http://lod-cloud.net
The reasons, why we added the "fail" to the 18 data sets were:
- no CKAN/datahub entry (e.g. ISOcat)
- no RDF available
- no links
- no data online
- only schematic information (e.g. GOLD)
- too many bugs (e.g. Glottolog)
I really hope we can fix this until MLODE in September and get more data
online.
*Now is the time to submit your data set*
1. Create a CKAN entry
2. submit your data set here: http://code.google.com/p/mlode
We have a team of developers, who will assist you in
- converting your data to RDF
- debug your existing RDF data
- interlink it with other knowledge sources
- provide hosting for small data sets
We have already discovered and fixed quite a few bugs in Glottolog. I
would be happy, if we could work together towards a common goal as a
community.
One more thing. We are able to offer the support service *free*, because of
1. a lot of volunteers (and some very reasonable priced students). So if
you are technically skilled, please consider joining the development
team at: http://code.google.com/p/mlode
2. our three sponsors:
**Working MultilingualWeb-LT Working Group** -
http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/
**Interactive Knowledge Stack (IKS) EU Research Project** -
http://www.iks-project.eu/
**Monnet Project** - http://www.monnet-project.eu/
Please help us find more sponsors. We are also accepting donations:

All the best,
Sebastian
