Dear all,

as most of you have been involved in the LDL-2012 workshop, its aftermath
or one of the later LDL workshops, you might be interested to know that we
got a performance report from Springer, the publisher of the 2012 book on
Linked Data in Linguistics.
Our download numbers raised from slightly less than 5000 chapter downloads
per year in 2013 to more than 5000 chapter downloads per year in 2014, so
despite this book being somewhat dated already (and the draft versions of
the proceedings being available for free), it still serves as an important
orientation for people interested in this set of technologies in
application to NLP and linguistics, and, more importantly, the interest
seems to be on the rise.

Best regards from the Summer-2011 LLOD Datathon in Cercedilla, Spain,
Christian
