/“6 years of Linguistic Linked Open Data:/

/Where do we stand and where do we (want to) go?”/

This is the topic of this year’s panel that takes place at the 6th
Workshop on Linked Data in Linguistics
<http://ldl2018.linguistic-lod.org/program.html> on the 12^th May,
4:35pm – 5:35pm, co-located with the LREC 2018 conference in Miyazaki,
Japan.

We are inviting anybody who likes to contribute to the panel by raising
an interesting/critical topic regarding the current state of the LLOD
Cloud or possible future changes that should be addressed.Topics that
are under continuous debate are for example:

·- appropriateness of the dataset categorization for language resources

·- defining openness for LLOD

·- applicability and use cases for LLOD

Any other topics are also welcome. Participation in the panel requires
only a single slide stating your position/issue/topic together with at
least three arguments supporting it. After a short presentation of your
topic, the audience will join the discussion with questions and
comments. A registration to the LDL Workshop is not necessary, if you
will only join the panel as a panelist.

If you would like to participate as a panelist or need more details,
please send your topic directly to the workshop organizers:
