I think these smaller scale meetups (e.g. compare to OKCon) are indeed
important!

After meeting up with people working on an electronic labnotebook
system here at Karolinska, I finally picked up an my earlier intention
to start a regular meeting series, resulting in Stockholm Open Science
[0]. In fact, we'll meet up today for the first time, and meet monthly
after summer (in fact, this is a bit late, as for many here summer
starts today, though the weather disagrees [1] :). The main goal of
these lunch meeting would be to network, learn from each other, etc.

I was wondering if the Open Science wg should perhaps set up a list of
such local initiatives on a the OKFN website?
