Dear all,

Here is a survey to asses the need for NGS training requirement. Initially
set up to capture the training need of life scientists and computational
biologists from South Africa. Now it is extended for all in the interest of
open science. Please indicate which country you are from.

Please forward it to anyone who think might be interested in it.

Regards,
Judit

Dear NGS users, researchers and trainers,

In an effort to continue to serve the South African NGS user community, the
COST Action called
Next Generation Sequencing Data Analysis Network

http://www.cost.eu/domains_actions/bmbs/Actions/BM1006 and SeqAHead
http://www.seqahead.eu/, through its partnership with DST (Department of
Science and Technology) are conducting a survey (a simple questionnaire) to
evaluate your NGS analysis application and training needs. Consideration to
key factors such as the co-ordination and timing of workshops, where in
South Africa these would be delivered and how research needs are to be
addressed will be taken into account to ensure that as many requirements
are embraced.

We plan to submit a grant proposal for continued support from COST Action
for ongoing training based on your requirements. It is therefore important
that we receive your response to guide us in prioritizing and developing our
future training plan accordingly for COST-South Africa. Would you kindly
take 5 mins of your time to complete the online questionnaire using the
following link to help us help you and/or your research
group/department/institute. Also please forward it to anyone else whom
might be interested...

The link to the online survey given below and the deadline is 14th of
December 2014:
