Hello
It appears to be open season for thinking about open science training. I've
had a mammoth blog post on the back burner for weeks, which is now up:
http://science.okfn.org/2014/12/21/open-training-for-open-science/
Bill Mills over at Mozilla Science Lab pipped me to the post with a great
blog on open science curricula a couple of weeks ago:
http://mozillascience.org/open-science-goes-to-university/
Do take a look at both and if you're keen to continue the conversation,
Bill started a pad which has already received plenty of contributions so
head on over there:

This will be an area of focus for the working group in 2015 as we've had
such a lot of members involved in FOSTER bids, developing open science
courses and more. Sophie Kay, who was one of our Panton Fellows 2012-13
recently received a flash grant from the Shuttleworth Foundation to assist
with development of the Open Science training Initiative, so if any working
group members or local groups would like to try out OSTI or
localise/translate it we'd love to hear from you!

FINALLY - I have set up a Zotero public group for papers and other articles
related to training for open science, feel free to join up, add and share
items if this is an area of interest.

Thanks all!
Jenny
