Dear Meng,

I presume you are looking for more information about open research data /
open data?

If so you may find these resources of help:

   - The Panton Principles <http://pantonprinciples.org/> are a great start
for a definition and guidance as to why open data in research is so
important. The wikipedia article 'Open science data
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_science_data>' is also a MUST READ.

   - Murray-Rust, P. 2008. Open data in science. Serials Review 34:52-64.
   http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.serrev.2008.01.001 Available for free at:
   http://core.kmi.open.ac.uk/download/pdf/287656.pdf

   - John Wilbanks TED talk 'Let's pool our medical data
   <http://www.ted.com/talks/john_wilbanks_let_s_pool_our_medical_data>'

for which there is a transcript available in Chinese:
http://www.ted.com/talks/john_wilbanks_let_s_pool_our_medical_data/transcript?language=zh-cn

   - Moore, S. 2014. Issues in Open Research Data. London: Ubiquity Press.
   DOI: http://dx.doi.org//10.5334/ban [book]

In which current issues are broken-down into discipline-based chapters
including economics, earth & climate science, palaeontology, health care,
drug discovery, content mining and the humanities.

   - Open Data 101: OpenCon Webcast
   <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6UUDhVGd8uA> [Youtube webcast]

Is a live, recorded webcast I gave as introduction to the subject of open
data, to attendees of OpenCon 2014 <http://www.opencon2014.org/>.

   - The Royal Society 'Science as an open enterprise
   <https://royalsociety.org/policy/projects/science-public-enterprise/Report/>'
   report (2012)

Is a first-class resource on the benefit & need for open data in research

Please also be aware that the Open Knowledge Foundation has Ambassadors in
China: http://cn.okfn.org/ get involved if you want to know/do more around
open data!

All the best,

Ross

PS if you're looking for large scale examples of open (science) data *in
practice* I'd recommend Dryad <http://datadryad.org/>, Figshare
<http://figshare.com/> and Zenodo <https://zenodo.org/about> to name but a
few.
