[open-science] prize for open science

Next February 21st, worldwide open data day,  will be the award ceremony
of the II OKFN award to Open Knowledge, Open Data and
Transparency, organized by OKFN Spain.

The award consists of six categories, but there is one specific for open
science projects

- Best open science initiative

in which candidates (worldwide) will be voted on by a jury of more than
50 people.

Award Ceremony will be hold at  Media Lab Prado (c / Alameda 15 Madrid)
but streaming will be available. We will have the online participation
of the president of Open Knowledge, Rufus Pollock and other speakers in
the fields of Open Knowledge, Open Data and Transparency.

The nomination is open up to 31st January and the applications already
submitted and further information can be obtained at the main prize in
http://premio.okfn.es
