[open-science] OIpenMinTeD Open Calls - Provision of scientific content for TDM

Dear all,

We are happy to announce that the OpenMinTeD <www.openminted.eu> 
platform for text and data mining will be launched in a few weeks and we 
are now ready to accept content to be mined. We invite publishers, 
repositories, libraries and other holders of scholarly works to join the 
open call for content, *by submitting a proposal by 29 October 2017*.

*_Why you should join this call_*

By opening your content up for text and data mining through the 
OpenMinTeD platform, you will increase your content’s visibility and 
impact. *Winners of this call will be awarded € 7.000 (small bids) or € 
17.500 (larger bids) *to implement the connection of their content to 
the OpenMinTeD infrastructure.

*_How to join the call_*

You can join the call by submitting a CV and a *proposal of maximum 10 
pages* that describes your work plan, method, risk assessment, people 
and experience etc. A review committee will assess the proposals based 
on a set of criteria as coverage, relevance, feasibility of integration 
methodology and experience.

_*About OpenMinTeD*_

OpenMinTeD <www.openminted.eu> is a European H2020 project of 17 key 
TDM-related partners that sets out to develop an infrastructure for text 
and data mining for scientific content. All partners are dedicated into 
delivering a *computing platform**that brings together textual 
scientific content, TDM tools and services, training, support and 
guidelines*. In collaboration with OpenAIRE <www.openaire.eu> and CORE 
<https://core.ac.uk/>, we *rely on OA content providers*, institutional 
repositories and OA journals, into building *a content hub to be 
seamlessly accessed for TDM*.
