The OPERA project (Open Research Analytics) is hosting a workshop/seminar at the Technical University of Denmark, on Thursday, 28 March 2019. The workshop will focus on the latest international developments in Open Research Analytics: Open analytics data, open metrics and open systems as well as how to measure openness, how to include Open Science in the analysis. Three keynotes will put the overall workshop issues in perspective – while four in-depth tracks will discuss the OPERA results and plans coupled with interventions by international experts of the particular areas.



3 keynotes:

·       Merle Jakob, Professor in Research Policy at Lund University, addressing the findings and recommendations of the EU Expert Group on Indicators for Researchers' Engagement with Open Science and its Impacts.

·       Katja Mayer, Researcher in Responsible Research and Innovation in Academic Practice at University of Vienna, addressing analytics in the context of social sciences and humanities.

·       Christian Herzog, CEO of Digital Science – Discovery & Analytics, addressing the Open Research Analytics potentials of Dimensions as “a next-generation linked research information system”.



4 workshop tracks:

·       Open data and systems for Open Research Analytics
with Ludo Waltmann, Christian Hauschke, Muhammed Javed, Christina Stensboe

·       Documenting and analyzing humanities and social sciences scholarship
with Katja Mayer, David Budtz Pedersen, Louise Sandra Nørgaard Amstrup, Rolf Hvidtfeldt

·       Analyzing and visualizing scientometric networks
with Ludo Waltman, Pedro Parraguez, Alenka Prinčič, Nikoline Dohm Lauridsen

·       Enabling analytics of Open Science contributions
with Merle Jakob, Christian Herzog, Ivo Grigorov, Birger Larsen
