Dear all,
I hope you had a nice and relaxing weekend, and feel energised to take on
the week and do epic things! With apologies for cross-posting too, but I
hope many of you find this one useful/interesting.
We have some good news, that a *new instructional video*
<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNKt8B07Kwg> for the forthcoming module on
Open Principles (soon..) is now online!
<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNKt8B07Kwg>
This task is designed primarily for researchers who want to help to build
their online profile while helping to amplify their work. Think of this
task like a way of creating an online CV for showcasing your research.
It teaches four tools you can use for this:
1. ORCID - A persistent identifier for you and your research.
2. ImpactStory - A place to document how your research has been shared and
re-used online.
3. Publons - A place to document your peer review activities.
4. Open Science Framework - A place to openly collaborate on your research.
Don't forget join our open Slack group <https://osmooc.herokuapp.com/>, as
well as continue completing the quizzes and tasks for the present
module on Open
Research Software and Open Source
<https://eliademy.com/catalog/oer/module-5-open-research-software-and-open-source.html>
to help get certified! As always, we appreciate any help in getting the
word out about this, especially to early career researchers at this stage.
Best,
Jon
