From gottschling at sub.uni-goettingen.de Wed Feb 5 12:40:07 2020 From: gottschling at sub.uni-goettingen.de (Gottschling, Maxie) Date: Wed, 5 Feb 2020 12:40:07 +0000 Subject: [open-science] RRI for Real - Invitation to join the FIT4RRI Final Summit - 19-20 March 2020 Message-ID: ***Apologies for cross-posting*** Dear colleagues, We are approaching the end of the FIT4RRI project . A fitting way to celebrate the outcomes and share it with the rest of the world is the Final Summit , 19-20 March 2020, in Rome. In this way, we take stock of the lessons in the work packages and design steps for the future. The theme of the summit is ?RRI for real: shaping the future of open Science & Society relations?. It is not an ordinary conference with speakers and papers, but an interactive event with breakout sessions in three strands. Together the strands indicate what is needed for RRI to be real: fitting cultures and skills within organizations (strand 1), institutional change between organizations (strand 2) and novel policies (strand 3). If you are an early career researcher, Ph.D. candidate, Open Science and RRI trainer or Science Communication Writer/Journalist you can apply for a travel grant to attend our final summit. The aim of the grant programme is to reach multipliers of the overall scientific community and to maximize the outreach. More information about the grant and the preliminary programme can be found at www.fit4rri.eu/rri4real/ and register here: http://bit.ly/RRI4Real. We look forward to meeting you in Rome. Make sure to book your seat now!
