The City of Ottawa is building a light rail system

As it has not yet been constructed there is an opportunity to put open
data requirements into the design.  Are there any standards particular
to rail that we should use?

 (The bus system provides static GTFS schedule information
http://ottawa.ca/online_services/opendata/info/transit_schedule_en.html
and we will add realtime bus locations in a format to be determined.)
