Hi,

there will be a catchup meeting today at 1600 GMT.

Please go to the pad if you want to join in:

Main updates for today are that we have started putting some content
on http://bibserver.okfn.org about the software and about bibjson.

It would be useful to start getting more feedback about bibjson, and
to get some ideas of where it could be used to share data.

I propose that next weeks Wednesday meeting be dedicated to agreeing
the bibjson spec requirements. Who could attend next Wednesday 16th
November 2011 at 1600 GMT? If the time is not suitable, I will issue a
doodle poll to find an alternative.

Please have a look at the website and the various pages we have put up
- particularly I have started trying to describe the situation in
which a bibjson spec would serve a purpose beyond that of just being
data in an index:

http://bibserver.okfn.org/bibjson/the-purpose-of-bibjson/

Feedback on this from K4ALL, Repec, and other points of view would be
good. Also, this should tie in with what Primavera has been doing with
the bibliographic metadata guide - wherever we see gaps there, we
should aim to solve them with bibjson.

I am working on some updates to the bibserver code this week that will
allow for easy customisation of the display - then it should be
interesting to see what collections people would like to try putting
in it.
