It was a developers' challenge and I entered BibSoup at a very late stage
and created a lightweight and humorous approach (although Bibsoup is deadly
serious of course). The format was "Dragon's Den" and participants voted
with toy money. All great fun
The technical presentation through Owl and Penguin (
https://vimeo.com/35458484, 2.2 min) sold it and (for UK readers) my one
line product tag "Reggae Reggae Soup!.
Seriously I have found a number of people who are interested in managing
reading lists and I am wondering whether we shouldn't publicise it to
libraries and similar creators.
